I am offering free workshops in the UK to teach people how to make these beds. Please go here for more information.
Workshops for volunteers are the way that we can get beds made. People will need to set up their own to provide for people where they live. Here are some examples of ones we're doing.
Elliot is now based in Bristol and has run workshops there.
See the facebook page for the reports on the first at the Methodist Centre (thanks to Evans Cycles for the card and Holli for transporting it) and the second with GoodGym at The Island (thanks to Paul for helping to organise it and Halfords for the card).
More workshops are due to happen there so I'll update soon.
We had our first one at the University of Birmingham on 23/11/15 and it was attended by 60 people who really helped us to get a number of beds made and of course, learn what it's all about and how they work.
The second one was on Mon 30 Nov at 18.30 at the Impact Hub, 58 Oxford St, Digbeth, Birmingham.
See the blog post of how this event went.
The following one was at the University of Wolverhampton on Tue 8 Dec from 11.00 till 14.00 in the student union in the MD building. This was to do the same but to give to homeless people straight away. We got our card from Leisure Lakes bikes on School St.
Please visit the facebook page to let us know if you can come to a workshop.
